What Is Needed? Project Warmth is just that, keeping people warm. No one should ever be cold. Blankets, gloves, sleeping bags, scarves, parkas and items of warm clothing are desperately needed to help those who are unable to provide these items for themselves and their families.

Take a look through your home. Many of us have these basic items. That old blanket, jacket or clothing item that we don’t wear anymore can make a huge difference to those who need them. Don’t let them sit in an old box or at the back of a closet, put them to the very best use by donating them to Project Warmth. You can also help by encouraging your neighbours, family and friends to do the same. If we all made the active choice to help, not one person in our community would ever need to be cold again.

What Is The Next Step? Once you have collected your items for donation, they can be conveniently dropped off at any local Fire Station in the City of Calgary.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Make A Donation. We understand that time and resources for many may be limited. For some a financial donation may be more convenient or conducive to their circumstances. Project Warmth Society, like any organization, has expenses to distribute clothing and other items for warmth. These expenses are offset by donations from our sponsors and individuals like you.

How Can I Make A Donation? A donation does not need to be large. Any amount helps us get one step closer to our goals. You can make a donation by cash/cheque and send it to: Project Warmth Society of Alberta, c/o #600, 5920 Macleod Trail S., Calgary, Alberta T2H OK2.

Can I Make My Donation Online? Thanks to assistance from CanadaHelps.org we are now able to accept donations of any amount online via your credit card or through your PayPal account. Please use the form below to process your donation today.

All donations will be followed with a Tax Receipt within 45 days.

Volunteering can be a fulfilling experience regardless of why you want to get involved … whether it is simply to meet new people, develop new skills, share your talents and your knowledge, support a cause or to help others! Project Warmth is privileged to be working with amazing volunteers whose dedication and commitment to this charity is resulting in “Changed Lives”.

Project Warmth Society of Alberta runs several fund-raising events throughout the year to build awareness and funds for the Society. The events are only made possible by the generosity of our sponsors and silent auction donors.

VEHICLE DONATION

What Can My Old Vehicles Do? Many people do not realize that they can put old vehicles, boats, RV’s and motorcycles to good use. With the assistance of Donate-A-Car Canada Project Warmth can now put those vehicles to good use by either selling them at auction or processing them for scrap metal, depending on their condition.
